1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of QE1Bank, which is owned and operated by Techlayer Est. By creating an account, starting a trial, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Service Description

QE1Bank is an educational software service for Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part I preparation. Content is provided for learning and self-assessment only. QE1Bank is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Medical Council of Canada.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Billing, Subscriptions, and Refunds

1. Payment & Merchant of Record Our order process is conducted through Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Lemon Squeezy handles all customer service inquiries and returns. Plan Duration: Access is provided through time-limited plans as specified at the time of purchase. Plans do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated. 2. Refund Policy In accordance with Lemon Squeezy’s terms and consumer law, you have the right to cancel this Agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. 3. Exception to the Right to Cancel Please note that the right to cancel and obtain a refund does not apply to the supply of Digital Content (such as our question bank) once the download or applicable transmission of the digital content has begun. By accessing the QE1Bank platform and its educational materials, you consent to immediate performance of this agreement and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal from this agreement once you have accessed the content. 4. How to Request a Refund To initiate a cancellation or refund within the 14-day window (where no content has been accessed), please contact Lemon Squeezy's customer support team directly via their website or the contact details provided in your purchase receipt. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days by Lemon Squeezy once approved.

5. Acceptable Use and Content Protection

You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit question content, explanations, analytics, or software components. Automated extraction, bot usage, and unauthorized system access are prohibited and may lead to suspension or termination without refund.

6. Platform Availability and Updates

We continuously improve the platform and may modify features, content, pricing, or infrastructure. We aim for reliable uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, outages, or force majeure events may temporarily affect access.

7. Educational Disclaimer and No Guarantee

QE1Bank is for educational use only and does not provide official exam questions, leaked materials, medical advice, or legal advice. Performance on QE1Bank does not guarantee MCCQE Part I outcomes. You remain responsible for your own preparation strategy and exam readiness.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QE1Bank and its operators (Techlayer Est.) are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or security risks. You may stop using the service at any time. Clauses that should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits) continue to apply.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal data, including information on subprocessors, international transfers, and your privacy rights.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

Except to the extent amended by mandatory local consumer law, these Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, as per Lemon Squeezy’s Merchant of Record structure.
